On Monday, Oct. 23, at approximately 8:56 a.m., officers with the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to Bomgaars, 5320 10th Street in reference to a suspicious individual. It was reported to officers that there was a subject in the store who appeared to be under the influence of some type of substance.
Upon arrival, officers contacted Brandon Goodwin. Goodwin indicated that he had drug paraphernalia in his pocket. Officers located several items, including a syringe in Goodwin's pocket. The syringe tested positive for amphetamines. A pipe was also located with Goodwin which tested positive for (THC) marijuana.
Goodwin was arrested and booked in lieu of bond.
