The Larned Police Department announced they received Gold in the 2025 Community Traffic Safety Awards.
Throughout 2024, the Larned department promoted traffic safety across the community. Efforts included:
• High-visibility traffic enforcement
• Child car seat installations
• Bicycle safety programs
• Community education booths
• Teen traffic safety education
• Continued officer training in traffic safety initiatives
