Stasa Stamenkovic, Mina Kaneko, and Aubrey Olander of the Barton Community College volleyball team have been named to the 2025 NJCAA Division I Volleyball All-America teams, marking a historic milestone for the program.
For the first time in Barton's 46-year volleyball history, three Cougars earned NJCAA All-America recognition in the same season, becoming the program's 32nd, 33rd, and 34th all-time honorees.
Stamenkovic, earlier voted the KJCCC/Region 6 Freshman of the Year, earned a spot on the twelve-member first team, while Kaneko collected second team honors and Olander was named to the third team.
The trio fueled a dominant stretch run for Barton, powering a ten-match regular-season win streak, securing the program's third straight KJCCC title (15–1), a second consecutive Region 6/Plains District championship, and the Cougars' 25th NJCAA Division I National Tournament appearance, culminating in a 31–7 campaign and a final No. 5 national ranking.
Stasa Stamenkovic – First Team NJCAA All-America: OH, Freshman - Bor, Serbia
Stamenkovic becomes the program's 25th first team recipient, the fourth in the last six years, and the second straight, joining 2024 honoree Phoebe Reyes.
A two-time KJCCC Player of the Week, Stamenkovic emerged as one of the nation's premier two-way players. She delivered 3.16 kills per set in postseason play, posting four double-doubles in five matches, highlighted by a 19-kill, 17-dig performance on .313 hitting in Barton's national tournament finale.
Across the season, she produced 19 double-doubles, finishing with 468 kills (3.49/set) on .266 efficiency and 469 digs (3.50/set), ranking among national leaders in both categories.
Mina Kaneko – Second Team NJCAA All-America: Libero, Sophomore – Tokyo, Japan
Kaneko anchored Barton's back row with one of the strongest defensive seasons in the KJCCC, earning five KJCCC Defensive Player of the Week awards and the NJCAA Week 5 Defensive Player of the Week honor.
She tallied 651 digs (4.86/set)—the 5th-most in a single season in program history. Her 1,108 career digs rank 5th all-time at Barton and 3rd among two-year careers, cementing her legacy as one of the program's elite liberos.
Aubrey Olander – Third Team NJCAA All-America: Middle Hitter, Sophomore – Little River, Kansas
A two-time first team All-KJCCC/Region 6 selection, Olander again dominated at the net with a standout sophomore campaign. She led the region and ranked among national leaders with 171 blocks (1.28/set) while adding 277 kills (2.07/set) on .329 hitting, the third-best efficiency in the conference.
A KJCCC Week 3 Defensive Player of the Week, Olander delivered her second double-double of the season during Barton's Region 6 championship run, helping secure a second straight national tournament berth.
Olander concludes her Barton career as the program's all-time leader in single-season assisted blocks (148) and career assisted blocks (260). Her 295 total career blocks rank third in Cougar history.
