Pilot Club of Great Bend always accepting new members to serve community

From the Pilot Club of Great Bend...

Our service organization is a group of caring people who come together in friendship and service, to learn and develop into stronger individuals by ā€œDoing More- Caring more- Being More.ā€ Our Mission Statement: Improve the Quality of Life in Our Community. We are a non-profit 501c3.

Regular Meetings of the Pilot Club of Great Bend: First and Third Tuesdays of the Month & 5th Tuesday’s 2024 - 2025
Business Meetings: Date: 1st Tuesday of the Month -- Time: Noon.
Place: Perkins Restaurant – 10th St.
Program Meeting Date: 3rd Tuesday of the Month-- Time: Noon
Place: Perkins or as announced ** Lunch is paid by the member
Membership meetings: After hours 5th Tuesdays -- 5:15 p.m. -- Perkins/ no meal service
Pilot membership provides an opportunity to:
Ā· Serve in the area of Encouraging Brain Safety & Health.
Ā· Support Those Who Care for Others.
Ā· Develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills.
Ā· Network with people who share similar interests.
Ā· Develop new social and business relationships both locally and internationally.
Ā· Help people through community service at home and throughout the world.
Ā· Make a difference in the lives of people in our community and throughout the world.
Ā· Attend district and international conventions and workshops.
Ā· Learn more about the community and its needs, especially in the areas of Encouraging Brain Safety & Health and Supporting Those Who Care for Others.
Ā· Work with youth.
A Pilot Member:
Ā· Aspires to the principles in the Pilot Code of Ethics.
Ā· Attends meetings and participates in club projects; an active participant in club decision-making.
Ā· Encourages decisions which affect ā€œthe greater whole.ā€
Ā· Always professional in all matters concerning Pilot business.
Ā· Keeps the club strong by inviting new members to join and encourage cultural diversity
Ā· Does their ā€œfair shareā€ to plan and carry out service projects and fundraisers. Ā· Becomes familiar with local and the Pilot International website. www.pilotinternational.com
