The Great Bend Recreation Commission is forming youth basketball leagues for boys and girls in grades 1-6. The Rec is needing coaches, which are in high demand as the season starts.
Games are scheduled to begin Feb. 24 with practices starting week of Feb. 5. Leagues cannot begin until all coaches have been filled. The Rec will be holding a coach’s meeting on Thursday, Feb. 1.
Come in to sign up to coach at the GBRC office, located at 1214 Stone Street or contact GBRC at 793-3755 ext. 118.
Coaches needed:
1st-2nd grade girls – 5 coaches
1st-2nd grade boys – 4 coaches
3rd-4th grade girls – 2 coaches
3rd-4th grade boys – 3 coaches
5th-6th grade girls – 1 coach
5th-6th grade boys – 1 coach
