If you like history and if you can spare four hours per month, then the Barton County Historical Society needs you. The Historical Society is looking for volunteers and invites anyone interested to attend its upcoming volunteer orientation meeting at 2 p.m., Sunday April 12th at the museum south of the river bridge, on Highway 281, Great Bend. Summer hours begin Sunday, April 12th and run Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. To find out more, call (620) 793-5125.
