
The Golden Belt Community Concert Association’s 2026-2027 Membership Campaign is now under way and will continue through May 8. The theme, “Where Music Meets the Moment,” describes a diverse collection of musical genres, each making special moments with their own kind of music.
Concerts for the GBCCA 2026-2027 season include:
Made in America – Alliance Brass

Made in America is a celebration of 250 years of American music covering a variety of styles fitting this beautiful country. The music will be folk songs such as America the Beautiful; orchestral pieces including Bugler’s Holiday; popular songs like Bridge Over Troubled Water; and Sousa’s marches.
The ‘70s Show – Jim Witter

Staging a party celebrating 1970s music, Jim Witter and friends perform hits like Midnight at the Oasis, Bad, Bad Leroy Brown, Killing Me Softly, Tie a Yellow Ribbon, and many more.
Garth LIVE! – Legendary Garth Brooks Tribute

This extraordinary band brings to life the timeless music of The Eagles, one of the most iconic and beloved rock bands in American history. From their flawless harmonies to their electrifying guitar solos, every note and lyric is expertly recreated, delivering an authentic and captivating performance.
Concerts are for members only. No single concert tickets are available. The concerts are held in the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium, Lakin and Stone, beginning at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. Because the association encourages young people’s interest and education in music and the performing arts, full-time students will be admitted for a $5 donation.
May 8 is the deadline to renew or purchase new memberships at the current price. After May 15 the membership fees will increase by $20 per adult. Membership cards will be mailed prior to the first concert.
Anyone wanting to renew their membership or purchase a new membership in person may come to the GBCCA headquarters Thursday, May 7, from noon to 7 p.m. and Friday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Barton County Historical Society, 85 S. U.S. Highway 281. Memberships also can be purchased by mailing a check to GBCCA, P.O. Box 1795, Great Bend, KS 67530, or online by credit card at www.goldenbeltcca.org.
Membership fees from now through May 8: Adults, $50; Full-time students, $10; Family package (two adults and all dependent children living in same household), $110; and Grandparent package (two adults and four minor grandchildren), $110.
Membership fees after May 15: Adults, $70; Full-time enrolled students, still $10; Family package, $150; and Grandparent package, $150. The association will accept memberships until sold out.
