
On Wednesday, Dec. 21 at approximately 10 a.m., the
Hoisington Police Department, along with the Great Bend Police Department,
executed a narcotics search warrant at 319 ½ E. 2nd Street in
Hoisington.
Kevin Pekarek Jr., age 40, was located in the residence and taken into custody.
During the search of the residence, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug
paraphernalia items were located. This has been an ongoing investigation
involving the HPD, GBPD and Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
Pekarek was booked into the Barton County Jail for possession of meth with intent
to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of
drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.
Pekarek’s bond was set at $100,000.
