3 hospitalized after trucks collide at Stafford Co. intersection

STAFFORD COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Friday in Stafford County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ram 2500 driven by Ivan Wayne Milton, 60, Hudson was eastbound on Northeast 110th Street three miles east of U.S. 281. A 1989 Chevy Truck driven by Sammy Duane Jahay, 63, Ellinwood, was northbound on Northeast 30th Avenue.

The trucks both entered the intersection at approximately the same time. The Chevy struck the Ram at the rear passenger side door. After impact, the Ram truck rolled onto its top and came to rest upside down in a field. The Chevy came to rest on the north side of the intersection upright facing south.

EMS transported both drivers to the hospital in Great Bend and a passenger in the Chevy Ellen Marie Miller, 32, Hudson to the Stafford County Hospital. The drivers and the passenger were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
