Kan. woman hospitalized after driver stops for a cow on I-70

SALINE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before noon Thursday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Kia Telluride driven by Annette Marie Overlease, 65, Ness City, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just west of Halstead Road. The SUV rear-ended a 2015 Ford F350 driven by  Colton Todd Neitzel, 23, St. Francis, who stopped for a cow on the highway.  After impact a 2015 Ford F350 driven by Ethan Jeffrey Fisher, 19, Topeka, rear-ended the Kia. 

EMS transported  Overlease to Salina Regional Health Center.  The other drivers were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
