From KDOT
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) will begin a culvert extension project on K-4 at County Road 320 in Rush County, near Bison, the week of June 15.
The road will remain open with shoulder work reducing the lane width to 11 feet. Traffic will be guided through the construction zone with flaggers and a pilot car during daylight hours. Expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
The project should be complete in the fall, conditions permitting.
Reece Construction Company Inc. & Subs., based in Salina, is the primary contractor for the project, which totals just over $268,000.
KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones.
