Get into the spirit of Halloween at the historical society.
All through the month of October, the Barton County Historical Society will be presenting a classic movie monster film on Friday evenings at 8 p.m. The films will be played outside, so wear your hoodies, and bring your lawn chair or a blanket to sit on and see these black and white classics.
Pets are welcome if leashed, cleaned-up after and kept under control. Admission is free for the film and the historical society will offer bags of popcorn for $2 and soda for $1.
The schedule is as follows:
Oct. 7: Frankenstein (1931)
Oct. 14: Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
Oct. 21: Son of Frankenstein (1939)
Oct. 28: Ghost of Frankenstein (1942)
