Great Bend will be represented in the 52nd Kansas Shrine Bowl presented by Mammoth on Saturday, June 21 in Dodge City. Senior lineman Owen Kaiser was named to the West roster.

Kaiser (6-3, 275 pounds) helped the Panthers to a 9-1 record in 2024, earning a KSHSAA Covered All-State honorable mention. Kaiser was also a First-Team All-Western Athletic Conference selection on the offensive line.

Kaiser will be protecting the likes of Manhattan quarterback Carter Aslin, who nearly led the Indians to a state championship in Class 6A, and Cheney quarterback Josh Burdick, who led the Cardinals to the Class 3A state title in 2023. Goodland tight end Linkon Cure, a Kansas State-commit, will join Kaiser on the offensive line.

The West squad will be coached by Wichita Heights coach Dominick Dingle. Hutchinson's Mike Vernon will be the 5A representative. The 52nd Kansas Shrine Bowl will be played at Memorial Stadium in Dodge City.
