Great Bend city crews are continuing to clean the storm sewers along 10th Street and Main Street, a project that began on May 17. Starting at approximately 6 a.m. each morning, crews work to maintain the infrastructure lines along these busy streets.
The city urges drivers to exercise caution and be attentive when driving in these areas, especially during the early morning hours. Fast-moving vehicles have posed a significant challenge to the city staff's safety. To help alert drivers, crews will have signage and an arrow board in place as advanced warnings.
