Submissions are now being accepted for
the annual Friends and Acquaintances Exhibit at the Shafer Art Gallery at
Barton Community College.&nbsp; Kansas artists
are invited to submit two pieces of art for consideration in this year’s
exhibition. Application deadline is Monday, August 24th.&nbsp; The Shafer Gallery’s summer hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Mondays.  Admission is always free. For more information, call (620) 792-9342.
