Great Bend's TCI Answering Service expands to Northeast Kansas

TCI Answering Service, based in Great Bend, has expanded to the Lawrence area. TCI recently joined the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and celebrated its ribbon cutting in December.

While the growing staff has been serving customers throughout the Midwest for more than 20 years, having a more on-site presence in Northeast Kansas presents opportunities to the communications company.

"I'm eager to meet the business owners in the Lawrence area," said Shelly Peacock, owner of TCI Answering Service. "It's a new market, which is so exciting to the team and I. We love connecting and helping businesses grow and build lasting customer relationships."

TCI Answering Service began in Great Bend in 1986. In addition to answering phones for companies 24 hours a day, they also offer online chat monitoring, messaging software and social media marketing.

With 17 staff members in several states, TCI is equipped to serve businesses in any part of the United States.

"We serve a lot of companies who have on-call employees, such as roadside assistance vendors, medical offices, funeral homes, plumbers, etc.," said Peacock. "But we can also help cover the phones when a business is short-staffed, or just to provide office efficiencies and alleviate some of the customer service aspects off your staff's plates."
