Harry L. Schneider, 94, Otis, Kansas, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Rush County Memorial Hospital Intermediate Swing Bed, La Crosse, Kansas.
Harry was born September 13, 1928, in Rush County, Kansas, the son of Jacob and Edna (Brack) Schneider. He was a lifelong resident of Rush County, Kansas. He owned and operated OK Oil Service in Otis, Kansas, a Mobil Oil distributor for many years before his retirement.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis, Kansas. Harry was also the former fire chief of Otis, Kansas.
He married Alberta M. Brack in 1951 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis, Kansas. She preceded him in death March 27, 1999.
Survivors include many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his daughter, Lee Anne Schneider, (October 21, 2011).
Per Harry’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.
Memorial service will be Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis, Kansas, with Stan Ewy, SAM officiating.
A private family inurnment will be at a later date in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Otis, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to Rush County Memorial Hospital Intermediate Swing Bed, La Crosse, Kansas.
