The Barton County Health Department is sending out the camper for another healthy living lab in the rural parts of the county. The remote lab fair will take place in Claflin on Wednesday, June 29 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the library parking lot.
Health Director Karen Winkelman said the
health lab will allow the department to reach more county residents with services.
"We have these services available everyday in our department as a walk-in basis, but we are getting out into the smaller communities," said Winkelman. "We want to make it more available to the community."
The health department offered the healthy living lab in Albert this week.
The health lab offers a number of tests and vaccinations.
