Inman – Mary Elizabeth Stinemetz, 95, passed away February 22, 2024 in Inman, Kansas.
She was born February 18, 1929 in Palmer, Kansas; the daughter of Marsh P. and Helen Stine Anderson. She was a farmwife and homemaker.
She was a member of Maranatha Church, Hutchinson and a former member of Hodgeman Community Church and Faith Fellowship Church. Mary taught Sunday School and enjoyed helping with Bible School.
On June 13, 1948, she married Elmer Lee Stinemetz in Clifton, Kansas. He passed away July 28, 2017.
Survivors include: four sons, Alan (Donna) Stinemetz, Hanston, KS, Randall (Janet) Stinemetz, Topeka, KS, Cecil (Nona) Stinemetz, Inman, KS, Philip (Warene) Stinemetz, Olathe, KS; daughter, Carolyn (Loren) Youngers, LaVeta, CO; sister, Barb Lachman, Belleville, KS; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; daughter, Marlene Miller; brother, Milton Anderson and a great granddaughter, Madison Cunningham.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at Maranatha Church, Hutchinson with Pastor Paul Nisly presiding. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Marantha Church, Hutchinson. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at Brown’s Grove Cemetery, Burdett, Kansas with Doug Ellison presiding.
