From the city of Great Bend
Utility crews are working on replacing a fire hydrant and auxiliary valve located at Hemlock Drive and Cottonwood Lane. This work will require the water main line to be gated down temporarily with lower than normal water pressures. We expect minimal disruptions to service mainly localized to the 1800 and 1900 blocks of Cottonwood and surrounding areas.
Please be careful and attentive when driving in these areas. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank the citizens of Great Bend for their patience.
