The Liberal Redskins kept the Great Bend Lady Panthers winless on the season Tuesday by beating Great Bend 11-7 in a single Western Athletic Conference game played at the Great Bend Sports Complex.
Liberal scored runs in each of the first three innings in building an 8-3, then was able to hold on for the victory that improved their record to 3-1 on the season. The Lady Panthers are now 0-5 on the season and 0-1 in WAC play.
The two teams play again Thursday with a double header in Liberal at 4 p.m..
