Area youth planning to hunt in Kansas are encouraged to enroll in a Hunter Education Course this spring. Students will complete online coursework then attend a Field Day session where they’ll review materials, take a test and complete the in-person portion of the program. The class is limited to 21 participants and you must be 11 years of age or older. The Field Day will be held from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Great Bend Police Department Training Facility.
