Over 80 baseball and softball players participated Tuesday (7/1) in the Pitch Hit &amp; Run competition at the Great Bend Sports Complex. Participants showed off their baseball and softball skills in hopes of earning a trip to Kauffman Stadium for the Regional MLB Pitch Hit &amp; Run competition. 

Results of the local competition are being compiled and will be released soon. 

The event is sponsored by the Great Bend Optimist Club and the Great Bend Recreation Commission.
