The Barton County Commission will host a National Interest Electric Transmission Corridor town hall meeting beginning at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, in Courtroom A of the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main, Third Floor, Great Bend.
This open forum meeting is planned as a way for local governmental agencies, as well as the public, to discuss the designation process, route boundaries and coordinated response efforts. A list of questions is being developed. Please email questions to dwatson@bartoncounty.org. Questions will not be answered at this time, but will be compiled for future use.
