Great Bend Post
The city of Great Bend is already preparing for another festive Christmas season. The Home for the Holidays Festival & Holiday Parade will fall on Saturday, Nov. 28 this year at 5:30 p.m.
This year’s parade theme is “Merry and Bright,” and entries are asked to deck out their floats with festive light displays. The brighter, more creative, and more magical, the better. CLICK HERE to enter your float.
The city is also seeking volunteers for the annual Trail of Lights display. Clubs, organizations, businesses, families, church groups, service groups, and community teams are encouraged to lend a helping hand. Small or large groups of volunteers are accepted and appreciated.
Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Amanda Gaddis at the Great Bend Convention & Visitors Bureau by emailing agaddis@greatbendks.gov.
