The Great Bend Lady Panthers trip to Hays Monday proved to be unproductive as Hays defeated Great Bend 7-0 in a Western Athletic Conference Soccer match.
The Panthers hung tough against the talented Indians in the first half and trailed 2-0 at the break. But Hays High pulled away in the second half with 5 goals to win 7-0 to improve to 9-2 on the season. The loss dropped Great Bend to 0-10.
The Lady Panthers are on the road again Thursday as they play at Dodge City.
