RUSSELL COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Saturday in Russell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Kenworth semi driven by 20-year-old Joshua Tair Vopat of Bunker Hill was southbound on 176th at South County Road ten miles south of Interstate 70.
Due to the fog, the driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the dead end of the road and came to rest in the ditch.
EMS transported Vopat to the Russell Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
