The Great Bend City Council will hold a special in-person meeting on Wednesday, March 25, at 12 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
The sole new business item on the agenda is consideration of approval for the Great Bend Recreation to host a fireworks display within city limits on March 28. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. as a part of the rec’s annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at the Great Bend Sports Complex.
The previously scheduled March 16 meeting was canceled due to an absence of quorum. The next regularly scheduled city council meeting will be on April 6. Regular council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of the month at 5:30 p.m.
