Local historian Karen Nueforth passed away on March 7th.
Karen dedicated her life to community service and historical research. Her knowledge of local history and genealogy have been lost forever and Karen will be missed.
Karen was the Executive Co-Director and Research Director at the Barton County Historical Society and was a twice a month guest on “Pages in Time, the New Shows” on KVGB Radio.
A Celebration of Life service and reception will be held at the First Congregational Church of Christ in Great Bend on Tuesday evening June 8th at 7pm.
She will be buried at the Clarence Township Cemetary at a later date.
