ELLSWORTH COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident during a pursuit with law enforcement just after 7:30a.m. Friday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Toyota Tacoma driven by Austin T. Flanagan, 30, Castle Rock, Colorado, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of Vesper.
During the pursuit, law enforcement used a tactical vehicle maneuver. It caused the pickup to enter the ditch and roll.
EMS transported Flanagan to the Ellsworth County Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP. Authorities did not released additional details on what prompted the pursuit.
