A Great Bend man was arrested following an investigation into an alleged sexual offense at a house party in Hays.

According to Don Scheibler, Hays police chief, officers were dispatched to a Hays residence at about 12:30 a.m. Sept. 5, for a delayed report of a sex offense.&nbsp;

Scheibler said the reporting party told officers she had been sexually battered while attending a house party on Sixth Street in Hays.&nbsp;

The investigation led to the arrest of Lucca Bayao Vieira Salomon, 19, on requested charges of aggravated sexual battery, rape and criminal restraint.

Scheibler said the victim met Salomon at the party and investigators did not believe the two knew each other before that night.&nbsp;

Scheibler did not provide the victim’s age or hometown.
