The Russell Community Impact Award Committee announced David Munday as the distinguished recipient of the April 2025 Russell Community Impact Award. This award recognizes individuals, businesses, or organizations whose exceptional contributions have significantly enriched the fabric of the Russell community.
David's nomination described him as an individual who selflessly gives his time, effort, and energy through his volunteerism and dedication to Russell. David exhibits his community-minded spirit through his dedicated service as a board member for the Dream Theatre for the last 25 years, where he has been described as an invaluable asset whose knowledge and passion contribute to the Dream's success. David is also a dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
As the winner of the Russell Community Impact Award, David received a $250 donation to the non-profit of his choice. David chose the Dream Theatre as the recipient.
