The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) will welcome several state legislators for a tour and discussion at the KBI Regional Office and Laboratory in Great Bend on Thursday, April 20. 

Each year, employees of this facility provide investigative services to 46 of the most western Kansas counties and laboratory services to more than 70 counties. The KBI expects to receive a $910,000 appropriation to replace an HVAC system and finish a laboratory renovation project.
