The Cottonwood Extension District will be hosting a Grain Sorghum Plot Field Day in Barton County on Monday, August 31st beginning at 9:00 a.m. It is located 1.75 miles North of Hoisington on Susank Road.
Seed Company representatives will be on-hand to discuss their sorghum hybrids. Extension Agronomy specialists Lucas Haag will discuss sorghum production practices. J.P. Michaud, Extension Entomologist will discuss insect issues.
Complimentary breakfast burritos and refreshments will be provided courtesy of the seed companies at 8:30 a.m.
