Barton Athletics announces attendance and ticket policy

Posted Feb 07, 2021 1:59 PM

The Barton Community College Athletic Department announces its 2021 event attendance and ticketing policies in lieu of the KJCCC's recent decision to allow a limited number of spectators.

Due to a 25% venue capacity outlined by the KJCCC, Barton will have a limited amount of tickets available for home events, especially affecting attendance opportunities for basketball contests. In conjunction with the generosity of game day sponsors, Barton will offer limited tickets on a first-come first-serve basis with general admission seating concept within the Barton Gym. Visiting team's fans will coordinate through their respective college's athletic department for securement of a limited amount of ticket opportunities.

"It's been a tedious evaluation of welcoming spectators while being diligent for safety concerns of everyone involved," said Barton Athletic Director Trevor Rolfs. "In addition to the planning, we're also excited to offer free admission opportunities for our fans due to the generous support from game day buyout sponsors."
