HAYS, Kan. – Persistent lightning from thunderstorms in the Hays area ultimately caused the postponement of the 2024 FHSU Football season opener at Lewis Field Stadium. The game between Fort Hays State and Angelo State will now be played at 1:30 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 30) at Lewis Field Stadium.
