Back for a second year, Friday night bike rides are in motion in Great Bend. The family-friendly cruise across town meets every Friday evening in downtown Great Bend while the weather is nice.

Katelyn Sigler said the bike rides give participants a chance to explore
downtown while getting exercise.
"It's about a five-mile, easy ride," said Sigler. "It's great for kids. It's great for the biking community to get together and meet new people. We've had a lot of new community members come. They bring their whole family and it's a great opportunity to get out and do something."
Bicyclists should arrive to Jack Kilby Square by 6 p.m. on Fridays. The bike
ride will take participants down 19th Street to Veterans Memorial Park
and back down 19th Street to return to the courthouse.
