Patricia Ann Drehle, 87, passed away July 31, 2021, at University Village Memory Care in Round Rock, Tex. She was born November 28, 1933, at Albert, Kan. to Orville & Rachel (Lebsack) Hays. She married Merle Drehle on January 14, 1961, at Great Bend, Kan. He died September 15, 1990.
Patricia was a claims secretary at Farm Bureau Financial Services in Great Bend. In 1997 she moved away from Great Bend and relocated to Harlingen, Tex., before moving to Round Rock, Texas in 2013. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Harlingen. She always volunteered at church. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Uribe, and husband Eddie of Round Rock, Tex.; a brother, Charles Hays and wife Jennifer of Cordillera, Colo.; and a grandson, Adam Uribe of Dallas, Tex. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merle Drehle; and two sisters, Carol Mills and Sandra Horn.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Private Family Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kan. Memorials have been designated to Trinity Lutheran Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
