Ellinwood High School is proud to announce that senior volleyball standout Kyndal Moore has officially signed her national letter of commitment to continue her athletic and academic career at Emporia State University.

Moore, a four-year starter for the Eagles and one of the most decorated athletes in program history, played a pivotal role in elevating Ellinwood Volleyball to statewide prominence. She concluded her senior season as a 2025 2A State Champion, helping lead the Eagles to an undefeated title run.

During her high school career, Moore achieved:

• 4 Central Prairie League (CPL) Championships with an undefeated 66–0 league record

• 2024 & 2025 Sub-State Championships

• 2025 2A State Championship and 2024 4th Place State Finish

• 2024 & 2025 2A All-State Tournament Team Selections

• 2025 1st Team 2A All-State; 2024 2nd Team 2A All-State

• CPL First Team All-League Honors (2023, 2024, 2025)

Her senior-season statistics further underscore her impact: 300 kills, .400 hitting percentage, and 71 total blocks. Over her four-year career, she amassed 905 kills—ranking 4th all-time in Ellinwood High School history—along with 197 blocks and 411 assists.

Ellinwood Head Volleyball Coach Greg Maxwell praised Moore’s development and leadership:

“I am extremely proud of the growth I have seen in Kyndal over the last four years. She has developed into a phenomenal impact player for our program and will continue with that mindset at the next level. In her senior year she embraced what leadership looks like and was a major factor in leading our team to an undefeated state championship. Very proud of all she has accomplished in our program and can’t wait to see what she has waiting for her in the future.”

Moore expressed excitement about beginning her collegiate journey early, starting at Emporia State in January:

“My journey with Ellinwood volleyball has been truly amazing and memorable. The long hours spent with my teammates and coaches will be something that I will never forget. I am so excited to start my new journey in January at Emporia State! With my knowledge and experience that I built during high school, and the new opportunities and knowledge I will gain at ESU, my love for the game will grow even stronger!”

Moore will join the Emporia State Hornets Volleyball Program next fall, bringing with her a legacy of excellence, work ethic, and championship-caliber experience.
