The Barton Community College track and field program split its roster in different directions this weekend as both squads returned with a number of marked improvements.

Sending a combined twelve men and women south to Lubbock, Texas, competing in Texas Tech's Stan Scott Invite & Multis, four additional national qualifiers were added among ten personal best efforts.

Fifteen separate members crossed the state to Topeka recording six personal best efforts while adding a national qualifier competing in the Washburn Open.

The full squad is tentatively set to regroup for a trip to Maryville, Missouri, this weekend competing in the Bearcat Invitational.

Highlighting the Texas trip were Trevon Hamer for the men and freshman Asharria Ulett for the women as each recorded program 8th best times in their events.
