Sign up now for the 14th Annual Cougar Open Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Barton Cougar Booster Club, at 10 a.m., Friday August 7th at the Lake Barton Golf Club north of Great Bend on Highway 281. Cost is $125 per person, limited to the first 36 teams and includes lunch, golf cart and fees. Hole prizes will be awarded with a silent auction and raffle to follow. Entry fees can be mailed to the Cougar Booster Club, P.O. Box 1642, Great Bend, 67530. Proceeds from the event will provide equipment and facility upgrades for athletic programs at Barton Community College.
