Vitoria Campigotto of the Barton Community College women's tennis program represented the College on the national stage this weekend, competing among the nation's top players at the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup held at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.
Earning the tournament's No. 4 seed following her regional success, Campigotto battled through three competitive matches against premier junior college opponents. Opening play Friday against Ivanna De Gregorio of East Central Community College, she dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision before falling Saturday in a tightly contested 6-3, 7-5, 10-7 match to Madison Standifer of Wallace State Community College.
Wrapping up her appearance early Sunday morning, Campigotto's final match was moved indoors due to weather, where she pushed another Wallace State opponent, Jaedyn Martin, to three sets before coming up short 7-6(2), 4-6, 10-6.
