For years, when you told someone to meet you at Pizza Hut in Great Bend, there was always clarification needed of which one, 10th Street or Main Street. There will no longer be a choice next week as the 10th Street location of Pizza Hut will be closing.
Manager Melissa Koehn said the reemergence of the buffet to the Main Street restaurant will drive business to the lone location.
"I'm pretty sure the 10th Street location is closing because of the buffet coming in over here," said Koehn. "There wouldn't be as many people going over there, in my opinion."
The last day the 10th Street Pizza Hut restaurant will be open is Tuesday, Sept. 19. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pizza Hut shut down their all-you-can-eat buffet. The buffet will return Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the Main Street location.
"It's all exciting for this new buffet," said Koehn. "I'm ready for it. We haven't had it for three years."
The buffet will be available every day from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and again Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
