PAWNEE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7p.m. Wednesday in Pawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Freightliner semi driven by Brandt T. Stewart, 33, Hoisington, was eastbound on U.S. 56 approximately five and one half miles east of U.S. 183. The semi traveled off the road to the right and struck the grain elevator.
EMS transported Stewart to Wesley Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
