From the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce...

The Annual Cinco De Mayo Festival is set to take place in downtown Jack Kilby Square on May 6 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. There will be live music from Los Traficantes Del Norte, a popular band known for its energetic performances. Local food vendors will also be on hand, serving up authentic Mexican cuisine to satisfy your appetite.

In addition to the music and food, there will be plenty of entertainment to keep everyone engaged throughout the day. From dancing to games and other activities, there's something for everyone at this festival.

The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce will have its own booth at the event, so be sure to stop by and visit with the Chamber staff. We'll be serving up cotton candy and hosting a giveaway for a chance to win gift baskets with items from local businesses, as well as pinatas for the kids to enjoy.

"It's a great opportunity for people to come together and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our community," said Chamber CEO Megan Barfield. "We hope to see you all there!"

This event is free and open to the public, so mark your calendars for May 6 and come join the fun. For more information about the Cinco De Mayo Festival, please visit their Facebook Page here.
