Donald Ivil Calvert, 56, passed away on December 23, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born on June 2, 1965, at Hoisington, Kansas to Donald Lee &amp; Sylvia Esm'a (Staggs) Calvert.

Donald was a Great Bend, Kansas lifetime resident. He worked for Sunflower Diversified Services at the Recycling Plant. He enjoyed bowling, WWF wrestling, and arts and crafts at the Great Bend Rec Center. Donald was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.

He is survived by four brothers, Ricky Calvert of Great Bend, KS, Chris Michael, James Michael and Steve Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tammy Cope.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from noon to 8:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Singleton presiding. Memorials can be made to Great Bend Recreation Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
