On Thursday, Dec. 5, at approximately 10:44 a.m., officers with the Great Bend Police Department responded to The University of Kansas Health System, 514 Cleveland Street in Great Bend, in reference to a domestic disturbance.
It was discovered the female half of the altercation, Judy Goodman, age 68, battered the other party using a mop handle. Goodman was placed under arrest for aggravated battery. Goodman was transported to the Barton County Jail where she was booked and held on a $75,000 bond for aggravated battery.
