A shoe drive fundraiser is ongoing in Great Bend until Aug. 29 to raise funds for community awareness against suicide.&nbsp; 

Surviving Suicide Foundation will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes collected, as Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes. 

Those dollars will benefit suicide prevention and education in learning the signs. 

Anyone can help by donating gently worn, used and new shoes at 1411 Wilson Street in Great Bend.&nbsp;
