From the Great Bend Recreation Commission...
Join the Great Bend Rec for a fantastic PAWesome Easter Egg Hunt for your four-legged canine friends. The event will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at Veteran’s Memorial Park next to the Dog Park.
Easter eggs will have pet-friendly treats inside of them or vouchers for larger prizes. The hunt will be divided into two sections, Small Dog Breed Hunt and Large Dog Breed Hunt. For everyone’s safety, all dogs must always be on a leash.
Registration for the event begins at 1 p.m. and the egg hunt will begin at 1:15 p.m. A fee of $5 per dog will be collected and proceeds will go to improvements at the dog park.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.
