On Sunday, Jan. 26, at approximately 3:35 p.m., officers with the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to an address in the 3300 block of Forest Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. While on scene, officers contacted an adult female and three juveniles.
Officers were advised that the adult female and John Feemster, age 34, had been arguing. Officers were advised that during the argument, the adult female was battered by Feemster and that he had obtained a weapon and forced all of the subjects into a bedroom.
Feemster was contacted outside of the residence and was arrested. He was transported to the Barton County jail and booked for the charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and endangering a child, in lieu of bond.
